Primavera Sound Returns to Barcelona!


Strap yourself in for one helluva musical ridethis June, as Primavera Sound festival returns to Barcelona with an epic double header.

Yes, you read that right. After a two-year, Covid-enforced hiatus, Barcelona’s most famous music fest returns for two full weekends of headliners, and a stunning series of concerts in between.

The 1st weekend will see Massive Attack, Pavement, Tame Impala, Beck, The National, The Strokes, Gorillaz, Jorja Smith, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds and Tyler the Creator take to centre stage, ably supported by 100s of talented artists, bands and DJs.

The second weekend sees Dua Lipa, Interpol, Lorde, Megan Thee Stallion, Phoenix and Yeah Yeah Yeahs join the roster, alongside some repeat headliners from the first weekend, and many more superb international acts such as Metronomy, Khruangbin, Celeste, Bad Gyal, M.I.A, Mogwai, The Jesus & Mary Train and Amyl & The Sniffers.

If that wasn’t enough music for you, many of the 2022 line up will be playing additional intimate shows as part of ‘A La Ciutat’ programme of concerts that takes place during the week in concert venues around the city.

Tickets

Sadly tickets are already sold out for 2022, but to make sure you’re on board for 2023, we suggest you head over tothe Primavera Sound websiteand subscribe to their mailing list, and follow them on your favourite social channels. Advance tickets are typically released just after the festival for the following year.

Other Cities

If you can’t wait until 2023, then catch a cheap flight toPorto instead, one of six cities where Primavera Sound festivals are taking place in 2022. Tame Impala, Gorillaz, Nick Cave, Interpol and Pavement are all playing in Portugal.

Meanwhile, North and Latin Americans can rock out in Los Angeles, Sao Paulo, Santiago and Buenos Aires. Find dates and line ups of each edition onthe official website.
